Summer Scholastic Program

Instruction for first through sixth graders is available during the
camp day for campers who would benefit from regular practice and review of basic skills in reading/writing
or mathematics. Options for instruction include small groups (two-four children) or one to one tutoring.
Summer instruction provides students with greater confidence, new learning strategies, and more polished skills to begin the
new school year. Students will be working in air-conditioned rooms for their
comfort.

Each session will be 45 minutes in length. You may select either reading/writing or mathematics for
each session. Three lessons per week are suggested for campers attending the full session and five times
per week for campers attending one session. The camper's schedule will be adjusted to replace an
activity with the tutoring session, but he or she will not miss daily swimming instruction.
