Introduction to Kayaking

Have fun while learning the basics of Kayaking.  Games, swimming, and, of course, stroke work are par for the course.  Spend each lesson with an ACA-certified instructor paddling the flat water section of the Farmington River in Collinsville.  You'll explore Crayfish Island, learn to navigate your way on land and water, and how to walk across the bow and stern of your boat.  Who knows what adventures you may have while learning to paddle your own kayak!

Campers will leave the Renbrook campus at noon and will return in time for dismissal, travelling by van or bus to Collinsville Canoe and Kayak. The group is limited to 12 campers.  Two week long trips will be offered: July 12 - 16 for a fee of $300 and July 26 - 30 for a fee of $300.
