An exciting program has been has been developed for the senior campers in grades 7-9.
It meets this age group's needs for adventure, focus, and leadership. Campers may
register for one of the Adventure or Senior Programs, concentrating on this activity
for their Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. Prior to camp, choices may also be made
from the camp's recreational and Challenge 2008 Programs to complete the camper's
Tuesday/Thursday schedule. In each program, the leader will be a qualified teacher who
will teach specific skills and develop group camaraderie. Seniors will enjoy the
afternoon Free Choice Program and their own Special Thursdays. A Senior Trip may also
be combined with many of the camp programs.

The very successful Challenge Program is designed for campers in grades 7 through 9 who wish
to pursue more academic and artistic interests. The key to Challenge 2008 is individualization.
Prior to camp, campers select Challenge activities to complete their Tuesday/Thursday program, creating
a stimulating and highly personal summer experience. Some examples of the more than 30 activities are
photography, painting, rocketry, computer, newspaper, advanced pottery, woodworking, singing, sports,
creative art, and cartooning. Each camper may participate in 1-4 of their challenge choices per week
depending on their individual schedule.
