Transportation

For many families requiring transportation, the camp's Door-to-Door service is very convenient. For towns at a greater distance, a central drop-off point is arranged for the convenience of camp families.

Morning and Afternoon Shuttle Buses meet campers at Bishop's corner (West Hartford Branch Library), Corbin's Corner (Sears lot facing New Britain Ave.) and the intersection of Route 44/Waterville Road in Avon (Apple Healthcare/Nassau's Lot). The shuttles will depart at 8:15 - 8:20 A.M. and return at approximately 4:00 - 4:15 P.M. Camp transportation is not available for the 12:45 P.M. pick-up (3-4 Year Olds Program).

A Transportation Card is included as part of the brochure's registration form. This may be mailed in along with the registration form and deposit. Door-to-Door transportation routes and Central Pick-Up points are determined based on the current population of campers.

Final transportation routes will be communicated to registered families approximately one week before the first day of camp.
