Location and Facilities

Summer Adventure is located in West Hartford on Renbrook School's 75-acre campus on Route 44 (Albany Avenue) on Avon Mountain. It it just five minutes from Bishop's Corner on one side and from Avon Center on the other.

The school has many buildings including:

• a gymnastics room
• a gymnasium complete with showers, locker rooms, and basketball court  a music room
• two state-of-the-art computer rooms with twenty new Macintosh computers in each room
• two art rooms in addition to craft and pottery rooms
• two woodworking shops
• a photography darkroom
• a band rehearsal room and practice rooms
• science labs
• two theaters with stages complete with new sound and lighting systems
• classrooms

Outdoor facilities include:

• three outdoor swimming pools
• five playing fields
• four playgrounds
• tennis courts
• an archery range
• a ropes course
• nature trails
• a pond with fish and native plantings

All of these facilities enhance the setting of Renbrook Summer Adventure's enriching program.
